        Subject  :  Annual Plant Shutdown for Scheduled Repair and
        Maintenance

        Rayong Purifier Public Company Limited (RPC) would like to inform that
        our refinery would be shutdown for regular scheduled repair and
        maintenance for 18 days, starting March 12th, 2006 until March 30th,
        2006. After the start-up, the efficiency and energy performance of the
        refinery will be improved.
       
        This is a scheduled plant shutdown (turn-around) in accordance with our
        repair and maintenance plan. We have already reserved enough main
        feedstock for the start-up. In order to supply our customers during
        this shutdown period, apart from building up the finished products
        in-house, we are also committed to purchase more finished products
        from various suppliers. Since we are well prepared and notified our
        customers and all related parties in advance, we are certain that this
        shutdown will not disturb either our business operation or overall
        performance of the company.
